Witchboard 2 is better than the first movie and much better than the third movie. I think it's pretty unfair that this film got a lot of flack, and many people say it's bad. If you're a fan of the first Witchboard film, you may find this film not that bad as many people claimed it to be. There isn't really much here that we haven't seen before, be it false scares, neurotic characters, boring dream sequences, and contrived deaths. While moving in, she discovers a Ouija board in the closet and for fun begins to play with it, and she ends up contacting the spirit of a former tennant who was murdered there. Laraine Newman is an embarrassment. Pointless in every way (unless you have a thing for the beautiful Dolenz). It feels very Canadian. Was this review helpful? Shy, pretty, blonde Paige Benedict (Ami Dolenz) moves into an artists loft apartment, finds a OUIJA board in the closet and starts playing with it, eventually contacting the ghost of Susan Sidney (Julie Michaels), who claims to be a murder victim.

But overall the movie is great, if you see it rent it. Totally awful remake of the first "Witchboard". tooshort74. The revenge plot line just doesn't allow for as many scare opportunities as the first film did. It has a nice artist loft setting this time around.
