I seem to better recall the track numbers. Amnesiac, while not Radiohead's best work, is still one of the best albums I own. I am a musician, and a huge music lover, with alternative rock from the 1960's through today being my favorite niche. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote.
Ranking Radiohead's albums is like trying to say which Beatles album is best. Their music is so good, so different, so unique, so intricate, so difficult, so layered, so deep, that it has changed the way I view other bands. I love it!! Their piano, guitar, bass and rhythm, winds, etc. Addictive album. There is currently 1 user viewing this thread. There was an error retrieving your Wish Lists. If you are a Radiohead fan, this is a purchase you won't regret. This is a very strong album which very neatly finishes the message conveyed from Kid A, its a must buy.
I already own over 500 CD's, everything from avant garde music by Brian Eno, top-notch studio rock from Steely Dan, everything by the Police, Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson, David Bowie, REM, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, STP, Chicago, Zappa, Machines of Loving Grace, Frank Black, Thomas Dolby, The Pretenders, Supertramp and countless others. Was kind of iffy on this purchase at first, as it was just outtakes from the Kid A sessions, but after listening to this multiple times... wow. Radiohead has changed the way I listen to music. The only track that I even slightly dislike is "Dollars & Cents," but I felt a similar way for "In Limbo" from Kid A so it didn't put me off a bit. Please try again. I have nothing to say about this other than I can't listen to it. This was love at first listen. I got a copy of this album and many of their others from a friend, but I never listened to them until I had my headphones on while doing some programming.
I might a well cut with a knife so I can make it sound good. The 10" version is also the way to go as they are no longer in press and sound perfect. Known for their explorative and restless sound, taking influence from old style rock like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Pink Floyd as well as from electronica and hip hop, each of Radiohead's albums marks a cornerstone in their musical evolution. For me it's the best Radiohead album from the beauty of Pyramid Song, to the Jazz legends appearing on Life in a Glasshouse, and the excellent single Knives Out. I'm a firm believer Radiohead is meant to be heard on vinyl. I have XL pressings of In Rainbows and Moon Shaped Pool and both have some surface noise and imperfections, it's hit or miss. Although it was recorded at the same time as Kid A, and although it contains a version of a song on Kid A, Amnesiac has a more solid feel to it - it's less 'out there' than Kid A, and therefore more involving. if you can get your hands on the book edition do it, but not for £200 If you like dark, dreamy music, with loads of ambiance and layering, interesting lyrics, music that just begs you to tap your foot, and sing along with, something that reaches deep into your soul, you can't go wrong with this. Proper and Thorough Radiohead and probably the most Psychadelic Radiohead album Personally.. Anyway, this album is superb. I'm surprised that it seems to be less well-received than Kid A though - it's a more coherent collection of actual songs.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 7, 2014 Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. I was floored. I don't know how it escaped me, but it did. It divided fans into love it and hate it on release. "You and whose army", "I might be wrong", "knives out" seem to have some kind of minimalistic emotional precision, every sound and detail convey some meaning and are there for a reason. Pretty sure I'll never listen to radiohead if this Is what they're putting out I must have assumed they didn't put any vinyl out. I prefer it to Kid A.

Like Brian Regan says, one is my favorite, but if I can't access the one, it's okay, because the other one is also my favorite. 3 discs in cardboard covers, several postcards of artwork of the time & all the b-sides & welcome live footage as to my knowledge there is only one official live dvd release.
