I have tried different usb ports, updated firmware, and then gone through the support's steps to do a soft reset and then a hard reset of the firmware (which required me to buy ANOTHER mouse to drag the firmware file to the mouse while it was in programming mode). Now, with RGB lighting and better software, the M65 RGB Elite represents a marked improvement.

The only con is the lack of really tactile clicks for the mouse buttons, but they are super sensitive so it's really just a matter of getting used to it.
